Martin Memorial Emergency Center at St. Lucie West now open
The Martin Memorial Emergency Center at St. Lucie West began seeing patients on Sept. 1.
The emergency center at St. Lucie West is an off-site emergency department that meets the critical medical services shortage currently facing western St. Lucie County by providing access to timely emergency care. The center is located at 1095 N.W. St. Lucie West Blvd. in Port St. Lucie. To contact the emergency center at St. Lucie West, call (772) 785-5585.

Martin Memorial Auxiliary offers scholarships for health care degrees
Residents of Martin and St. Lucie counties who are pursuing degrees related to health care may be eligible for financial assistance through the Martin Memorial Health Systems Auxiliary Scholarship.
Applications are available online at mmhs.com. The deadline for submission is Jan. 29, 2010.
