Titled “Visions of Hope,” Martin Memorial’s 2008 Annual Report highlights the accomplishments of Martin Memorial from the perspective of patients, physicians, associates and the community. Facts and figures related to the health system and the Foundation, as well as a list of donors who contributed to medical excellence are also included.

Robert F. Novins Golf Tournament helps fund cancer care at Martin Memorial
Now in its eighth year, the Robert F. Novins Memorial Golf Tournament has proven to be one of the most highly anticipated events of the year. Funds raised by the tournament benefit the Martin Memorial Robert and Carol Weissman Cancer Center. Since its inception, the event has raised approximately $304,000 for the cancer center, helping to purchase advanced technologies for radiation therapy that have been extremely beneficial to patients fighting cancer.
The event takes place over two days, including a dinner reception at Carsons Tavern in Stuart, on May 1 at 7 p.m. The golf tournament takes place May 2 at The Fox Club in Palm City, with registration and lunch beginning at 11 a.m. and a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.
