Class Fees
If this certification is required for your job, and you register for the class using this website, your department will pay the class fees. A manager's signature is not required. Please note that if you register directly through EMC/do not use this website, you will be responsible for course fees!
If this course is NOT required for your job, or is only required for float status, contact (772) 223-5945, ext. 4178. If you work in an area that does not require PALS, you will be expected to pay the fees at the time you pick up your course materials (see below for pickup information).
Initial Certification
Associates - $115 (book loan included)
Non-Associates - $135, plus additional $36 for book
Recertification
Associates - $75 (book loan included)
Non-Associates - $85, plus additional $36 for book
Class Dates & Location

Classes are held in the Martin Memorial Medical Center conference center from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the date(s) you choose.
Deadlines and Cancellations
Pre-reqistration is required for this class. Registration must be completed one week prior to class start date. Refunds will be issued only if cancellation is made one week before the class start date.
There are NO REFUNDS FOR NO-SHOWS! You must notify EMC if you are unable to attend. It is your responsibility to confirm your status with EMC prior to class.

Class Materials
All attendees must sign out a book at least one week prior to the beginning of course at the Medical Library, on the first floor of Martin Memorial Medical Center, across from Conference Room B. Pre-course work is required! You cannot be admitted to class without your book.
Non-associates may obtain a book from Martin Memorial's Medical Library or from EMC for $36. Associates, please return your loaned book within two weeks after completion of the class, or the $36 book fee will be deducted from your next paycheck, unless you report extenuating circumstances.
CEUs
CEUs are available for many licensed professionals. Please contact EMC for more information about CEUs.
